Merrell Men’s Trail Glove 7 Gore-Tex Boots Black

These waterproof walking boots from Merrell are a great addition to their barefoot range and are designed for walking, hiking and trail use. They are on the same sole unit as the Vapour Glove 6 which is based on a Vibran EcoStep outsole that wraps the foot to maximise grip and ground connection. The sole is made from 30% recycled rubber and gives excellent grip on wet and dry surfaces so is ideal for off-road environments. It is zero drop and super light-weight.  

The sole does however have a thicker mid-sole than the Vapour Gloves, designed with more cushioning for trail use. This does make it feel a little stiffer as well, as you would expect from a waterproof option. Stack height is 14mm overall. 

The upper is a synthetic mesh and includes a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane and exceptional breathability.  

It is a narrower fit than previous designs and other options on our website but does have a nice foot shaped toe box, although more suited to sloping feet rather than wider and squarer shaped toes.
